For the members of the Japan Society of Erosion Control Engineering (JSECE) and those who are planning to participate in the JSECE Annual Conference 2020 in Aichi,
Due to the spread of the disease caused by Covid-19 in Japan, we are sorry for having you worried about holding the JSECE Annual Conference 2020 in Aichi.
On March 19, the New Coronavirus Infectious Disease Control Experts Meeting presented an example of “how infection control should be conducted in a place where many people participate”. Therefore, it was judged that it is difficult for the participants to be thoroughly free from infection. In response to this, the extraordinary Board of Directors of the JSECE decided to cancel the Annual Conference 2020.
Regarding the research presentations at the Annual Conference, we credit all research presentations whose abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings with those which are presented at the Annual Conference 2020 in Aichi. The deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended from Friday, April 3 to Tuesday, May 19.
Registration fees and publication media, in printed form or in electric form, for the conference proceedings will be announced on the website of the JSECE and by e-mail as soon as they are decided.
We are sorry for any inconvenience to those who are planning to participate, but we appreciate your understanding.
