About Us
Information of SABOWith its topography characterized by many steep slopes, over the years Japan has experienced many debris flows, slope failures, and landslides due to heavy rainfall and earthquakes, and they continue to threaten the livelihoods and assets of the general public even today. The technology for preventing and mitigating these sediment-related disasters is called “Sabo”, or erosion control. In recent years, many Japanese sabo technologies have been adopted overseas.
