Call for Papers for
“International Journal of Erosion Control Engineering, Volume 2”

The Japan Society of Erosion Control Engineering (JSECE) is calling for papers for the International Journal of Erosion Control Engineering (IJECE).

IJECE is JSECE's new annual journal that addresses issues common to sediment‐related disasters, as well as recent erosion control techniques. Editing of the first issue of IJECE is currently underway, and this issue will be published at the end of 2007.

The theme for the second issue will be:
 “Debris flows".

Please consider submitting a manuscript to the second issue of IJECE. Papers not related to debris flows will also be considered. Both members and non‐members of Japan Society of Erosion Control Engineering may submit papers to IJECE and there are no publication charges.
All submitted manuscripts will be thoroughly reviewed by referees including researchers from both Japan and foreign countries. Manuscripts will be checked for English by specialists at no expense to authors.
The tentative deadline for submission of papers for consideration in Volume 2 of IJECE is April 2008, and the issue will be published in autumn 2008. A more detailed schedule will be provided in later volume.
